25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018 – Pretty Pink Posh

Today I’m pleased to be joining in with the 8th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, which is organised by Tracey McNeely at her blog – In My Creative Opinion.

I’m sharing some tags I made with some gorgeous sets from Pretty Pink Posh, who is the sponsor today. Here is a link to today’s post so you can see lots of fabulous inspiration.

I began by die-cutting six tags using the Stitched Duo 3 die set. I added a different blend of distress oxide ink onto three of the tags, then flicked them with water for detail.

Next, I cut down the other three tags using dies from the Stitched Borders die set so I had some pieces for snow. I covered these with embossing ink, then heat embossed them with WOW Diamond White embossing glitter.

I die cut some of the Pine Sprigs from white glitter card, and adhered two on to each card, along with the glittery snow pieces.

Finally, I stamped some images from Penguin Pals, coloured them with copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I added one to each of the tags, then finished with some clear glitter and gel pen details.

Here is a link to the main post all about the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, and how you can join in for a chance to win some great prizes. I hope you’ll feel inspired to have a go at making some tags too.

  1. Gemma, your tags are absolutely delightful with their pretty backgrounds, beyond adorable penguins, and perfect special touches, such as the branches and shimmer! Festive spirit soaring in seeing your lovely tags that are gifts in and of themselves!
