Spellbinders Spring into Glimmer Collection

Today I’m sharing a card made with products from the Spellbinders Spring into Glimmer Collection.

I’m using the Sentiment Banner Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set on my card today. It’s so easy to create a banner using the striped glimmer plate and the banner dies. With 11 glimmer sentiments included, there’s lots of options for fun messages.

I began by foiling all the pieces for the banner. I used gold foil over white pearlescent card, foiling three sentiments and four of the striped banner pieces.

Next, I die cut the sentiments with one of the banner dies and two of the striped pieces with another di in the set. The last 2 striped pieces are for the end of my banner, so I used the pennant end die to cut them out.

Assembling the banner is very easy. I used foam tape behind the sentiment pieces, lining the edges up with the edges of the striped pieces.

I decided to make a mini slimline card (3.5 x 6.5”). I cut a panel of patterned paper to adhere to my card base, then adhered the banner on top.

To decorate around the banner, I added a pearl and gold die cut butterfly, along with flowers scattered around to finish. I’ve linked to everything used below.
