The fabulous February release from Hello Bluebird is arriving in store on February 15. The design team are sharing cards using different sets this week so there’s lots of inspiration to be found.
Today I’m sharing a card using the new Banner Buddies stamp set, along with Spring Banner Script and the Vertical Banner die set.
I stamped and copic coloured lots of the images from the Banner Buddies stamp set, then die cut them out.
On a card base, I blended some tumbled glass distress oxide ink then layered a frame from the Gallery Frame 2 die set over the top. I used a die from the Grassy Knoll die set to add some grass.
The Banner Buddies stamp set has lots of floral and leaf images included so I used them to create a border of flowers at the top and bottom of the card.
Next, I die cut a banner using the die from the Vertical Banner die set. I stamped a sentiment from Spring Banner Script. As I had stamped the banner string image from Banner Buddies stamp set, I trimmed off the top of the die cut banner. I then layered it over some pink card, cutting it down to add a thin border.
I finished by adding some the critters to the card with foam tape.
