Pretty Pink Posh June 2019 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be joining this blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh June release!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from the fabulous Angelica Conrad. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the fabulous Tropical Birds & Hibiscus Flowers stamp sets, along with the must-have Triangles stencil.

I began by stamping lots of images from the Tropical Birds & Hibiscus Flowers stamp sets, then coloured them with my copic markers.

For the flamingos, I used R00, R30, R20, R22, and R24 for the feathers, along with N5 for the beak.

The Hibiscus Flowers are such fun to colour too. There are so many colour options so I just tried different combos, then chose three of the flowers for my card.

Around the edges of my card base, I added a light blend of tumbled glass distress oxide ink over the Triangle stencil. I then stamped a sentiment from the Tropical Birds stamp set at the top.

I arranged my images on my card, using liquid glue for the leaves and the larger flowers, then adhered the flamingos and the smaller flowers with foam tape.

Finally, I added some of the beautiful new Luau Jewels mix around the card.

  28. So many creative ideas! My favorite is the Tropical Birds stamp. But the Everyday Greetings stamps are a close second-favorite – versatile.
