Handmade Cards, Pretty Pink Posh DT

Party Friends

I always need birthday cards on hand so the new Party Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh is perfect.

I began with the Birthday Background stencil. I used distress oxide inks, in evergreen bough, cracked pistachio, spun sugar and picked raspberry, to ink through the stencil.

Next, I used the Storybook 1 die to cut a piece of white card. I trimmed it down so I had just a frame, then adhered it to my stencilled background.

I used some stamps from the Party Friends stamp set and clear embossing ink to stamp confetti in one of the Storybook 1 frames, then heat embossed them with WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder.

I stamped and copic coloured images from the Party Friends stamp set, then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I heat embossed, in gold, a sentiment from the set onto the sign that the mice are holding.

I added my images to the card with foam tape to finish this fun and happy birthday card.
