FSJ March 2020 Stamp of the Month

Today I’m sharing a card made with the FSJ March 2020 Stamp of the Month Club.

This month, you get Sentiment Stacks. This set is packed full of sentiments that can be used together to create fun stacked greetings. I’m a fan of typographic cards so this stamp set really appeals to me.

The FSJ Stamp of the Month Club is a monthly subscription, featuring high quality deeply etched red rubber stamps with cling mount.

Card 1

For my first card, I used one of the larger sentiments in the set to create a repeat pattern on a panel of white card.

I used WOW White Pearl embossing powder to emboss most of them. This powder gives a lovely tone on tone look when used on white cardstock.

For one of the stamped sentiments, I used WOW Primary Pink Robin embossing powder, so it stands out.

Next, I cut a piece of FSJ Sweet Berry cardstock and heat embossed one of the border images from the stamp set across it, using the same White Pearl embossing powder.

I adhered the Sweet Berry cardstock to the edge of my card base, then added the birthday panel at the top.

To finish, I heat embossed the ‘happy’ sentiment on some more Sweet Berry cardstock with White Pearl embossing powder. I trimmed the sentiment down and adhered to the card with foam tape.

Card 2

For my second card, I cut three panels of cardstock using a die from the FSJ Journey Rectangles die set. I used Pool Play, Beach Breeze and Chambray Shirt card for an ombre look.

I stamped, with black ink, the large Thanks sentiment on each panel.

I used a larger die in the FSJ Journey Rectangles die set to cut a white panel for my card base. I stamped an accompanying sentiment on this panel, then used foam tape to add the three blue rectangles above.
