Handmade Cards

Hello Bluebird April 2020 Release Day

Not long to wait! Today is release day and the April release from Hello Bluebird will be available soon!

Today the team are sharing cards using the new Besties stamp set. I’m also sharing a look at the new Pathway scene stamp. Another must have for scene building.

To begin, I stamped the Pathway scene using a grey ink. I used a circle stitching die from Lawn Fawn to create an area on the panel. I’m going to keep my copic colouring just to the area inside the circle.

Next, I stamped and copic coloured images from the Besties stamp set. As there isn’t currently a coordinating die set available, I used my scanncut to die cut the image out. I adhered the images with foam tape to my scene.

I heat embossed a sentiment from the Besties stamp set on a white banner of card, using WOW Kiwi Krush embossing powder. I used my G43 copic marker to add colour to a thin strip of card, then adhered both to my card. I think it gives the look of a title on a book cover.

I felt like the bear needed a balloon to complete the card, so I added one from the Party on the Farm stamp set. I love the little splash of colour escaping from the circle scene.

Head over to the Hello Bluebird blog for more inspiration and a giveaway! The new release will be available from the Hello Bluebird shop from 7pm MST tonight!
