Handmade Cards, Hello Bluebird DT

Hello Bluebird Besties

Today I’m sharing a card using the new Besties stamp set from Hello Bluebird. As well as cute critters, there are some lovely sentiments in this set.

I began by stamping a sentiment from the Besties stamp set using clear embossing ink. I then heat embossed it with WOW Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder.

I used a die from the older release Basic Borders die set to create the borders either side of the sentiment. I die cut the zig-zag border from Hero Arts cardstock in the colours Mustard, Kiwi and Paradise. I used a glue pen to adhere the borders to my card.

Next, I stamped two critters from the Besties stamp set. I coloured them with copic markers then die cut them out. I used foam tape to adhere them above the sentiment to finish this clean and simple card.
