Handmade Cards, Pretty Pink Posh DT

Layering Borders

Today I have a card to share featuring some border stamps and dies from Pretty Pink Posh. Layering borders together gives such a pretty look.

I began with the card base and layering pieces. I die cut a panel of white card with one of the Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Border dies. I blended on a light blend of tumbled glass distress oxide ink, fading to white. At the top of the panel, I stamped a birthday sentiment from the Pretty Pink Posh Pinata Party stamp set.

Next, I took some watercolour wash patterned papers and die cut the same border. I layered these behind the white card panel to create a pretty decorative edge.

On my card base, I added a piece of green watercolour wash patterned paper, then added the decorative edges to the card.

I stamped the floral border from the Spring Days stamp set and coloured with copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out and adhered to my card with foam tape.

To finish, I added some of my favourite Pearl White jewels around the sentiment and some Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the centre of the daffodils.
