I have a card to share today, featuring some fabulous June release products from Pretty Pink Posh.
I began with the background. I blended distress oxide ink onto a rectangle panel. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple. I flicked the panel with a mix of water and distress oxide ink to add lots of texture. I also added some flicks of gold perfect pearls.
Next, I die cut the new Nature Essentials die twice from white card. I’m just using the ground and grass areas on this card, but I’ll keep the other pieces for a future card. I blended distress oxide ink onto the pieces. Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap for the ground, and Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles for the grass.
I layered these pieces onto the rectangle panel, then stamped a sentiment from the new Simple Sayings: Brave stamp set at the top with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I heat embossed the sentiment with WOW Neutral Ultra Shimmer.
For the background, I die cut the new Stitched Leafy Borders from a watercolor background. I used Atlantis Burst, Falling Leaves and Green Parade shimmer powders. I adhered these borders to the card base.
To finish my scene, I stamped and copic coloured a lion from the new Jungle Friends stamp set and used the coordinating die to cut him out.
I adhered him to the card with foam tape, then covered his main and tail with Nuvo White Blizzard glitter drops.
