Spellbinders Celestial Zodiacs Collection

Today I have two cards to share using some beautiful sets from the Spellbinders Celestial Zodiacs Collection.

There is a fabulous range of glimmer plates, stamps and stencils in this collection, including glimmer sets for every Zodiac sign. Collect your favourites or the whole set!

Leo

For both my cards, I’ve used some beautiful Celestial patterned papers from Altenew.

On my first card, I began by cutting a rectangle of this patterned paper, then foiling two of the Leo Glimmer plates with gold foil.

Each Zodiac set comes with three glimmer plates – the constellation, the star sign name with dates, plus a glimmer plate listing three traits associated with that zodiac sign.

Next, I glimmered the traits plate with gold foil on black pearlescent card. I then used my trimmer to cut these words apart.

On a panel of white card, I used the fantastic Celestial Star Background glimmer plate with Matte Silver foil to cover the panel with stars. I then adhered this panel onto my card base. This really is a must have glimmer background!

Next, I adhered the patterned paper on top, adding some dimension with card pieces behind.

Finally, I added the three glimmered traits with foam tape at the edge of the patterned paper.

Virgo

For my second card, I cut a panel of patterned paper and used gold foil to add all three glimmer plates for the Virgo zodiac sign. I adhered this panel onto my card base.

Next, I used the beautiful Speckled Prism foil to glimmer the Celestial Star Background glimmer plate on white card.

I cut two pieces of the foiled panel and adhered them at the bottom and top of my card.

For a finishing touch, I added two thin strips of black pearlescent card.
