Hello Bluebird By the Sea

Today I am showcasing the brand new By the Sea background stamp from Hello Bluebird.

I was so excited to see this beautiful scene in this release, as it’s just perfect for many of the summer themed stamp sets from Hello Bluebird.

I stamped the background with Lawn Fawn River Rock ink, which is a grey ink. I like this for backgrounds as it sets the scene back from the other images I will add.

I used copic markers to colour the scene, using lighter markers in my collection so as not to oversaturate the background.  I also stamped, in black ink, images from Seaside Girls. I coloured them with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I wanted to keep as much of the background scene as I could, so I trimmed it down to a large square. I added an extra layer of card behind for dimension, then adhered it to a piece of Kraft card. I then added that to a 5.75 inch card base.

I stamped a sentiment from Hippos on Holiday, then added the Seaside Girls images with foam tape to finish.
