Today I’m showcasing the Hello Bluebird Simple Stripe background. The background stamp is 6×6 but I used a section of it on my card for a different look.

I inked a stamp line at a time with Altenew ink cubes, creating a rainbow of stripes.
I trimmed the panel down, then added some dimension behind it with scraps of white card, before adhering it to my card base.

To turn these stripes into candles, I used a couple of leaf images from the Long Distance stamp set. By colouring the leaves in orange, they become candle flames. I die cut them with the coordinating dies and added a couple of layers behind to match the dimension of the stripes.
For a sentiment, I added a black glitter birthday die cut word and a stamped ‘wishes’ from the Beach Play stamp set.
