RAM Mermaid

Today my card features the really sweet Mermaid digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller. This is a beautiful image and such fun to colour.

I printed the image on white card at 75%. This seems to be my go-to size for printing the RAM digital images.

I die cut the image with a circle, then coloured it with copic markers. I used a pale BG maker to add some water around the mermaid – it’s just about visible in the photos.

For my background, I picked out one of my previously made gel plate printed backgrounds. This one was created with Speckled Egg, Evergreen Bough, and Broken China distress oxide inks.

To add some detail to the background, I reached for a lovely glimmer hot foil plate from Spellbinders, called Hand Drawn Wave. I foiled this once on my background, with Moondust foil.

I adhered the background to my card base, then above the foiling, I added two strips of pearlescent card, using the Stitched Strips die set from Pretty Pink Posh. Using foam squares, I added the Mermaid, offsetting the circle and trimming away the overhang.

The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Yana’s Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil and Die set. I foiled it with Gold foil, adding some die cut layers for dimension, then adhering it on my card.

To finish, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Pearl White jewels.
