Hello Bluebird Singing in the Rain

Today I’m sharing a look at the new Singing in the Rain stamp set. This fun set is also available as a free gift with purchase! I began by layering a gel printed background on my card base, created with salty ocean, tumbled glass, and mermaid lagoon distress oxide inks.

Over this, I layered the new Partly Cloudy die, cut from white card. This is a must have as it not only cuts this versatile frame, but also lots of clouds that can be used together with the frame or on other projects.

I added a white card frame, cut from another Hello Bluebird scene die. Many of the scene dies include these slim frames, which are so useful.

I cut another panel of white card to fit inside the frame, and part-stamped a sentiment from the Singing in the Rain stamp set.

For the rest of my sentiment, I die cut the new Jane Small Alpha dies to spell the word singing – two white card layers, followed by patterned paper rainbow letters.

I stamped and copic coloured images from the new Singing in the Rain stamp set, then die cut with the coordinating dies. I added extra layers for dimension then adhered to my scene. I love those ducklings!

As a finishing touch, I added some musical notes from the Merry Mice stamp set. I had that song in my head for ages!
