Today I’m sharing a card made with products from the Spellbinders Liberty Collection. This mini collection coordinates with the previously released Sunday Drive die set.

I’m using the Sunday Drive All-Occasion Sentiments stamp set, along with the Sun Burst Stencil on my card today.

I began by building the car with the previously released Sunday Drive stamp set, using some pretty pearlescent card. All the sentiments in the new Sunday Drive All-Occasion Sentiments stamp set fit perfectly in the number plate section of the car. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with clear embossing ink, then heat embossed it with WOW Opaque White SF embossing powder.

The new Sun Burst Stencil is a large 6 x 9 inch stencil, so it’s perfect for slimline cards. I masked off the lower portion of my slimline panel, then used distress oxide inks in spun sugar, kitsch flamingo and picked raspberry to ink through the stencil.
I removed the stencil, then spritzed the panel with clear sparkle spray. This creates some droplet detail and lots of sparkle, which is tricky to capture on camera but very pretty in real life.

Once the panel was dry, I layered it on my card base. I used foam tape to add some balloons on top. I tucked the balloon threads behind the car, then adhered the car with liquid glue to finish.
