Today, I’m using the new 4th of July stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. I kept the colouring simple and used some sparkly embossing glitters from WOW Embossing.

I began by creating my background, die cutting strips of red and white card using the Simple Strip die set.

Next, I stamped images from the 4th of July stamp set, and coloured with copic markers. I kept the colouring very simple, only using R27 & B06 markers with no blending.

I embossed the stars and firework images with WOW Ruby Romance & Old Glory embossing glitters. Old Glory is a really fun mix – blue embossing glitter with white and red ultra high embossing powder. These larger flecks of powder show up amongst the blue glitter and is just perfect for a 4th of July celebration card.
On a panel of white card, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set. I then adhered the images, using die cut layers for dimension.

To finish my sentiment, I stamped the large America word on a separate piece of white card and embossed with WOW Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing glitter. I used the coordinating die to cut out the word, layered die cuts behind it for dimension, then adhered to my panel. I love having the coordinating die for the word as it gives so many more design possibilities.
Finally, I added the panel over my striped background to finish my card.
