Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be joining this blog hop, sharing inspiration using the Spellbinders July 2021 Clubs!
If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Tracy Ware. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

For my card, I used the Glimmer Hot Foil kit. Club kits are available separately as monthly subscriptions. They are also available together as part of these Value club options:
- Glimmer ‘n Cut – small die, large die and glimmer kits of the month
- Glimmer Groupie – small die, large die, card and glimmer kits of the month

For my July glimmer kit project, I created a pattern with different foiled rectangles. Continuing this theme, I opted for a rainbow pattern of foiled rectangles, this time all in the same size.
I foiled the smallest of the glimmer plates with polished brass foil on a rainbow of cardstock.

I trimmed the panels down so there were the same size, then adhered the panels at a diagonal on a card base.
On one of the rectangles, I added a foiled a sentiment with polished brass foil. Spellbinders have several sets with these skinny sentiments, which fit well in the small rectangle in this kit.
Finally, I trimmed away anything overhanging the card base to finish.

It is unexpected and very effective using the foiling on each rectangle. Polished Brass and Matte Gold are my two favorite foils to use.

That’s thinking outside of the box – err – rectangle? I would have never thought about using the glimmer plate for a background pattern. Thanks for sharing!
