Today I’m sharing a card using the new Vacation Scene die from Pretty Pink Posh. We are in the middle of a heatwave in the U.K. as I write this. I live a long way from the beach but I’d definitely like to be sitting in a deckchair by the sea right now!
I die cut the Vacation Scene die from various colours of cardstock, then pieced it together. I like to use a white circle behind to adhere the pieces. I added an extra circle frame too.
For the background, I used the Waves stencil and some distress oxide inks directly on an A2 card base. I removed the stencil, then blended more distress oxide ink around the edges to add more colour.
To add a sentiment, I used one of the cute Summer Fun critters. There are lots of sentiment choices in this set and also more options in the other Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets with sign critters.
