Today I’m sharing a card made with the Spellbinders December 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.
This month, you get the Botanical Crest set, with 3 hot foil plates and 5 cutting dies. Also included is a full roll of Blush foil.
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
There are also two Value club options available:

I began by foiling the large botanical crest on white card with Matte Gold glimmer foil.
There are two dies for the crest – and outer die and inner die. I used both to die cut my foiled crest, then layered a second die cut behind for dimension.
Included in the kit are two glimmer plate sentiments, but I decided to use a sentiment from a different set, as I wanted a banner style. I foiled a happy birthday sentiment from the Mini Everyday Sentiments set, with the same Matte Gold glimmer foil, on dark blue card. I used the coordinating die to cut it out.
On a square card base, I adhered a piece of patterned paper, then added the foiled botanical crest over the top, along with the sentiment strip.
There is a flower die in this months glimmer kit. I die cut some flowers from Gold Satin Mirror Card and adhered them around the crest to finish.
