Today I’m sharing a card made with the Spellbinders January 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.
This month, you get the Love Enclosed set, with 7 hot foil plates and 6 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of foil.
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
There are also two Value club options available:

- Glimmer Groupie – small die, large die, card and glimmer kits of the month
I foiled the pretty patterned heart 3 times on white card, using gold foil. I then used the coordinating die to cut them out.
With the same coordinating die, I cut out 3 hearts from pink and red card, and offset layered these behind the foiled hearts.
For the background, I used the January embossing folder of the month to add a pattern on a panel of white card. I then adhered this to my card base, followed by the foiled hearts.
There is a selection of strip sentiment glimmer plates in the kit. I foiled the ‘truly madly deeply’ glimmer plate with red foil on white card, then trimmed it apart to get three separate words. I then added these to my card with foam tape to finish.
