Spellbinders April 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month

Today I’m sharing a card made with the April 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders. This is a fabulous new monthly subscription club for 2022.

Add beautiful embossing textures and patterns to your cards. Sized at 5.5” x 8.5”, you can create backgrounds for A2, slimline, 5×7 cards and more with these embossing folders!

This month, you get the Radiant Burst embossing folder, which is such a versatile pattern.

I decided to try embossing on copper metallic card stock. I love the texture this pattern gave and I think it works so well for masculine cards.

I trimmed the embossed panel down to mini slimline size, then adhered to a card base.

Next, I foiled a sentiment from the Spellbinders April 2022 Glimmer of the Month kit. These kits work very well together. I used silver foil on a piece of blue patterned paper.

I cut out the sentiment with the included circle die, layering two more circles behind for dimension, then adding to the card. The size of the embossing folder allows for an offset centre, which I really like.
