Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m joining this blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh May 2022 release!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Raquel Arribas. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the fabulous Spring Foliage die set. It’s packed full of beautiful flowers and leaves, in different styles and sizes.
I was inspired by a beautiful card, created by the very talented designer Carley Tee. I love how she combined white die cut flowers with die cut windows in her card base, showing colour underneath.

On a panel of white card, I arranged some of the Spring Foliage dies to cut out a vertical pattern of flowers. I then adhered a piece of patterned paper behind, in pretty purple and pink shades, before adding both to an A2 top folding notecard.

Next, I die cut more flowers from white card and arranged these on the panel. Once happy with the placement, I secured with either liquid glue or foam tape, to add levels of dimension.

For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the Birthday Scripts stamp set. I chose a dark purple ink (C&9th Eggplant) as an alternative to the usual black. I die cut it out, stacked two more layers behind, then adhered on the card.
Finally, I added pearls to the centre of the flowers

Hi, Gemma – Love how you’ve used positive and negative flowers and the beautiful color wash behind the popped-out flower outlines. This card is a real beauty and not too complicated, although it packs a big visual punch. TFS –

Love the Pink and Purple on the White.
The extra touch of the pearls makes your card ” pop” and gives it that little something extra.
Thanks for the inspiration!
