Spellbinders July 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month

Today I’m sharing a card made with the July 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders.

This month, you get the Geometric Stripes embossing folder.

Add beautiful embossing textures and patterns to your cards. Sized at 5.5” x 8.5”, you can create backgrounds for A2, slimline, 5×7 cards and more with these embossing folders!

This embossing folder design made me think of Aztec patterns so I chose some bright colours of cardstock from Papermill Direct.

I cut each piece to a mini slimline of 3.5 x 6”, then embossed each piece of card with the folder, making sure to position them in the same place. I also embossed a white card panel.

I used a trimmer to cut the embossed panels into strips, then adhered them on top of the white panel. The pieces will slot into place, making it easy to align everything.

On one strip, I used a glimmer sentiment plate with gold foil to add a birthday greeting. I then adhered the colourful panel to a mini slimline card base to finish.
