Today I’m sharing cards made with products from the Spellbinders Celebrate the Season Collection.

I’m using the Glitter Wishes glimmer sentiment set and More Holiday Decorations die set on my cards today.

I began by die cutting all the pieces I needed for my two cards, using the More Holiday Decorations die set. There are 7 cutting dies in this set.

My favourite in the More Holiday Decorations die set is the fairy lights. I love how Spellbinders included a die so you can layer a piece behind to show through the catch light.

I die cut them from glitter card and also a lighter shade of plain card, using liquid glue to adhere them together. For the fairy light toppers, I die cut them from silver mirror card.

The fairy light strings are die cut from black and grey card stock. I added some stick-it adhesive sheet behind the card pieces before die cutting, to make them easier to adhere on my card.

Next, I cut two panels of white sparkle card to 3.5 x 6″ (mini slimline). I used gold foil with sentiments from the Glitter Wishes glimmer set, foiling directly on to the panels. There are 31 glimmer plates in this set, along with a sentiment strip die, so it’s a fantastic set for Christmas projects.

I adhered the panels to mini slimline card bases, then added the fairy lights strings, followed by the glittery die cut lights. The landscape card, at 6” across, is slightly too wide for one of the strings. It’s an easy fix – add two strings and hide the join with one of the fairy lights.
