Today I’m sharing two cards made with products from the Spellbinders Glimmer Greetings Collection.
Card 1
For my first card, I used Bright Pink foil over white pearlescent card with the Plaid Tidings Background. I’d recommend heating the plate longer than usual, around 3 minutes, as it’s a large area to foil.
Along the bottom edge of an A2 card base, I adhered a wide strip of dark pink card. I trimmed the plaid background down and added to the card base. Between the two areas, I adhered a thin strip of light pink card.
Next, I cut 1cm squares from both the dark and light pink card and adhered these in spaces of the plaid background.
I chose two of the glimmer plates from the Merry Glimmer Sentiments set (there are 8 glimmer plates, all with coordinating dies). I foiled these in gold on dark pink card, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added two more die cut layers behind the words, then added them to my card to finish.
Card 2
On my second card, I foiled the Plaid Tidings Background with Speckled Aura foil over white pearlescent card.
I trimmed down the background and adhered it to an A2 card base.
Next, I cut two thin strips of dark pink card and adhered them to the card, to look like ribbon on a Christmas present.
The sentiments are also from the Merry Glimmer Sentiments set, foiled in gold on dark pink card. I offset layered a white die cut behind, along with a couple of pink die cut layers for dimension.
