Spellbinders Boo Dance Party Collection

Today I’m sharing a card made with products from the Spellbinders Boo Dance Party Collection.

I’m using the Haunted House die set and Hypnotic Background glimmer plate on my card today. These sets are so much fun and I really enjoyed creating this card!

I began by die cutting all the pieces form the Haunted House die set. I used my favourite Papermill Direct black pearl sparkle card for the haunted house, also die cutting it from yellow card so I could add the glowing windows. The moon is die cut from some lovely Tonic Studios gold embossed card, which gives it some texture.

I’m enjoying making mini slimline cards at the moment, which are 3.5 x 6″. I cut a panel of patterned paper to go behind the haunted house. This is from the Crafters Consortium Grunge Dark Tones paper pad. I love the texture that these papers have, which are perfect for Halloween backgrounds.

For the bottom of the card, I picked a darker piece of patterned paper from the same collection, and foiled the wonderful Hypnotic Background glimmer plate on it with speckled prism foil. This is a full background but I’m only using half on my card today. I then adhered the patterned papers to a mini slimline card base, followed by the Haunted House die cut pieces.

The sentiment is foiled with silver on black card stock. This is from an older glimmer set, called Spooky Greetings Glimmer.
