Today I’m sharing a card made with products from the Spellbinders Gnome For Christmas Collection.
I’m using the Holly Jolly Gnome die set and the Twilight Sparkle Strip glimmer plate on my card today. The ornament on this die set can move side to side, for a fun interactive card. The glimmer background is so pretty and useful all year round.
I began by die cutting the elements from the Holly Jolly Gnome die set and constructing the pieces. I love the grey and red classic colours for the gnome.
Next, I used Speckled Prism foil to glimmer the Twilight Sparkle Strip twice on a mini slimline card panel. As the panel is a little too short for the 6″ tall mini slimline card base, I decided to use the space at the bottom of the panel to place my sentiment. I foiled a greeting from the Glitter Wishes Glimmer set in silver onto red card stock, cutting it out with the coordinating die and adhering with foam tape on my card.
The pendulum pieces of the ornament has a circle at the top. I placed a small square of foam tape on my card, then slotted the circle over the top. if you need to, use some powder around the edges of the foam square so the pendulum doesn’t stick.
I then adhered the other pieces of the Holly Jolly Gnome die set onto the card. The ornament and gnome have foam tape behind but I covered the sticky backing so they can move. The large bow is adhered using foam tape and covers the pendulum mechanism nicely.
