Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders March 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a new club for 2023. It’s a great way to add detail and texture to projects.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the So Kind of You set, with 3 hot foil plates and 2 cutting dies.
This pretty design makes creating a foiled background really easy. I foiled it twice, with gold glimmer foil, on a mini slimline panel.
Using the second hot foil plate in the set, I foiled it with gold on a teal card panel. I then used the coordinating die to cut out the design.
I adhered this across the centre of the other foiled panel, then adhered that to a mini slimline card base.
The kit comes with a decorative oval die. I used gold foil again, this time on white card, to foil a Happy Birthday sentiment. This sentiment is from a previously released glimmer kit (Celebrate the Day – Kit 4/2020). I then die cut the sentiment out using the decorative oval die.
I added another couple of layers behind for dimension before adhering to my card to finish.
Stitching Die Club
This month, you get the Nested Layered Stitched Petal set, with 4 cutting dies.
I love the A2 background panel of this set. I think it could work for lots of card designs. I die cut it from pearl white card, then layered it over a piece of teal card for a pop of colour through the decorative design.
I cut the centre piece from the same teal card, then the petals from the pearl white card. I added the stitching details with metallic white and teal threads. I then adhered this to my card.
For the sentiment, I chose a birthday glimmer sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments 2 set, foiling with silver on the teal card. I trimmed this down into two strips, then adhered in the centre to finish.
