Pretty Pink Posh March 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m pleased to be joining this blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh March release!  

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Caly Person. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set and Easter Wishes Shadow die set. I cut the wreath apart to make a Spring garland.

I began by stamping the large wreath image, flowers and Easter eggs from the Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set and colouring them with a selection of copic markers. I then die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

I used a trimmer to cut the wreath in half. I arranged both pieces across an A2 landscape card base, then secured them together at the back to make a garland. I added the flowers to the garland with foam squares.

Next, I die cut some extra layers for the Easter eggs for dimension. I secured some gold thread behind each one, then glued the eggs to the card base. I used double sided tape to secure the other side of the threads to the card, then adhered the garland over the top to hide the thread ends.

For the sentiment, I stamped ‘happy’ from the previously released Birthday Scripts stamp set.

For the large word, I used part of the new Easter Wishes shadow die set. I die cut the Easter shadow word twice from white card. I used my R81 copic marker to add colour to one of the shadows, then off-set layered them together.

I die cut the word Easter from gold glitter card and white card, layering them together, then adhering them to the shadow portion. I then added this to my card to finish.
