Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders April 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a new club for 2023. It’s a great way to add detail and texture to projects.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Glimmer Leaf Panel set, with 3 hot foil plates and 1 cutting die.
I foiled the leaf panel twice on a white card panel, using Cobalt Blue foil.
There is an add on stencil for adding colour to the leaves, but I decided to use blue copic markers instead. I coloured each leaf with two shades of blue – B52 and B01.
Next, I foiled one of the sentiments from the set, on navy card with silver foil. I trimmed it down to a thin sentiment set and added another layer behind for dimension.
I adhered the panel to an A2 card base, followed by the sentiment across the middle of the card.
Stitching Die Club
This month, you get the Stitched Fanfare set, with 6 cutting dies.
I die cut the fan pieces from an ombré of blue card stock. I then added stitching detail with silver metallic thread.
For the centre piece, I die cut it from pearl white sparkle card, the sentiment shadow from the darkest blue, and the letters from Papermill Direct Stardust Silver mirror card. I added an extra layers behind the letters for dimension, before adhering on the centre panel.
I used liquid glue to adhere the stitched fan pieces behind the centre panel.
For the background, I used a previously released embossing folder of the month to add some detail to a mini slimline panel. I then adhered this and the Stitched Fanfare piece to the card to finish.
