Spellbinders Photosynthesis Collection

Today I’m sharing a card made with the Modern Stripes glimmer set from Spellbinders Photosynthesis Collection by Simon Hurley.

There are 3 hot foil plates in the set, with thin to thick lines. I think this is a very versatile glimmer set to have in your collection.

My card design was inspired by a cushion I have, which features teal and cream with stripes.

I foiled each of the glimmer plates on cream, teal and dark teal cardstock. I used silver foil on both the teal and dark teal card, and teal foil on the cream card.

I cut these foiled pieces down into strips and arranged three of them across an A2 card base. I have enough foiled strips to make two more cards.

For the sentiment, I foiled a previously released glimmer plate on the cream card, using silver foil. I added some extra card layers behind for dimension, then adhered on my card to finish.
