Pretty Pink Posh January 2024 Release Blog Hop

Happy New Year! Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m pleased to be joining this blog hop celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh January release! 

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Lauren Taylor. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the new Heart Cover Plate die, which follows the popular Tree Cover Plate from the previous release.

I began by die cutting the Heart Cover Plate from pearl white sparkle card. I then chose a variety of card in a non traditional Valentines colour palette of teals and purples, and die cut the cover plate from each.

I adhered the pearl white card panel to an A2 card base. I added backing layers to the hearts for both dimension and a pop of contrasting colour. I then adhered them into the windows in the panel.

For the sentiment, I reached for an older die set – the Large Love Shadow. I die cut the shadow from vellum and the top layer from gold glitter card. I then adhered it across the card to finish.

  6. I think the heart cover plate is my favorite item of the release. So many fun things you could do with that. Love you color choice for this design.
