Hearts and Love Sentiments

The new Love Sentiments set from Pretty Pink Posh has some lovely hearts in various styles and sizes. I thought they would make a great background to accompany a sentiment from the same set.

I stamped a scattered hearts background with versamark, heat embossing them in various metallic embossing powders.

For a sentiment, I stamped it on white card in versafine black onyx ink, heat embossing with clear ink. I die cut it into a circle, then layered it over a larger vellum circle with some foam tape.

I positioned the vellum and sentiment towards the bottom right of the embossed panel, securing with staples and cutting away the overlap. I also secured the vellum to the panel with some adhesive, underneath where the sentiment circle sits so it doesn’t show.

I trimmed down the panel, then attached it to a white card base. I love the metallics and I think this design would also look great with a mix of ombré ink colours too.
