I had such a lovely time as a guest on the MFT sketch challenge last month. A new sketch started on Wednesday so I had to play along!
I’ve gone for lots of bright vibrant colour for my card. I used the Stitched Mod Rectangles for the four panels on the sketch, layering smaller white rectangles over the larger ones, which I’d coloured with a rainbow of distress oxide inks.
I adhered these to the card, then added a Happy Birthday circle frame on top, which I’d first coloured with copic markers, in more rainbow colours.
For the sentiment, I chose the fabulous ‘Get your party on’ greeting from the new Anything-But-Basic Birthday Wishes stamp set. It just seemed to match the fun of this card. I heat embossed it in white on black card, then die cut it with a stitched sentiment strip.
I added the banner to the card with foam tape, then finished with some Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear confetti.
