Fly a Kite

I thought I’d share a card today with a colourful abstract background, rather than a sky scene, to show how versatile the set can be.

I wanted to create circles of colour on the background, but I don’t have a circle stencil. Not a problem as I just created my own by die cutting some different sized circles from a piece of card. I used distress oxides to blend the circles directly on to a white card base.

Next, I stamped some images from the Fly A Kite stamp set and coloured them with copic markers. I die cut them with the coordinating dies, then attached the kites to the card with foam tape and the strings with liquid glue.

I finished the card with some Wink of Stella clear glitter on the kites and some Pretty Pink Posh clear sparkling sequins scattered around.
