The Pretty Pink Posh November release has to be one of my favourites this year. There are so many fabulous sets and they work really well together.
On my card today, I combined the Poinsettias with the Elegant Holly, along with the beautiful sentiment from Decorative Ornaments and some of the Holiday Mix jewels.
I decided to go with a red and silver colour scheme. I coloured a poinsettia flower and berries with my red copic markers. For the leaves and holly, I used some cool grey markers, with a touch of BV00. I then added some shimmer with a spectrum noir clear glitter pen. I wish it was easier to capture how sparkly these are in a photo.
For the background, I die cut a piece of Lawn Fawn white woodgrain paper, adhering this to a card base. I die cut a scalloped frame from silver glitter card, and cut a rectangle of vellum to go behind it.
Before adhering the vellum to the silver frame, I heat embossed a greeting from the Decorative Ornaments stamp set with WOW Metallic Silver super fine embossing powder. I then added the frame and vellum to the card.
I adhered most of the images to the card with liquid gliue, in order to keep the dimension minimal. I did use some foam squares behind the poinsettia, though. I also added some metallic silver jewels to the centre of the flower.
To finish the card, I added some of the Holiday mix jewels around the sentiment.
