Today I’m sharing a card featuring the cute bear from the Pretty Pink Posh Cupcake Critters. This set is part of the fabulous January release.
I began by stamping the bear image and colouring it with copic markers. I then die cut it with the coordinating die. I added some glue to the cake so I could add some glitter frosting. I love doing this for a touch of sparkle. I also added glossy accents to his nose.
I then worked on the background, cutting a tall narrow piece of white card. I masked an area at the bottom, then inked on some tumbled glass distress oxide ink. I faded the colour to white towards the top, then removed the mask.
Using the bear as a guide, I stamped some confetti images from Pinata Party on the card using colours to match the copic colouring. I then adhered the bear with foam tape.
I added a piece of patterned paper flat to a card base, then adhered the card with bear on top using foam tape.
To finish, I stamped a greeting from the Pinata Party stamp set and added some jewels from the Party jewels mix.
