Spellbinders PA Scribe Collection

Today I have two cards to share using the new Spellbinders PA Scribe Collection by Paul Antonio. This elegant collection has a mix of glimmer plates and regular dies. I combined the glimmer plates with other Spellbinders products to make these cards.

PA Scribe Monogram Laurel

For my first card, I used the beautiful PA Scribe Monogram Laurel glimmer plate with Champagne foil to add the design to a piece of Lawn Fawn white woodgrain card. I was very pleased with how well the foiling worked on this textured card.

I stamped a greeting from the Pretty Pink Posh Everyday Greetings stamp set in the centre of the laurel.

On my card base, I added strips of patterned paper, from the Spellbinders Super Chill Card Kit paper pad, to both edges. This paper pad is available separately from the kit. I then used foam tape to add the foiled panel of card on top.

To finish, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Pearl White and Shamrock jewels around the card.

PA Scribe Copperplate Majuscule

For my second card, I created a foiled sentiment with the PA Scribe Copperplate Majuscule glimmer plate set.

I cut a piece of FSJ Fresh Sage card stock, then ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine with the Botanical Frame Cut & Emboss folder. I love the mix of embossing and die cut details and how quick and easy it is.

Next, I lined up the glimmer plate letters on my card to spell ‘you’. I secured them with some low tack tape, so they foil exactly where I want. I used some silver foil this time. I then stamped an accompanying sentiment above the foiling, using a stamped from the Hello Bluebird Typed Everyday stamp set.

I layered some silver mirror card behind the die cut flowers then added the panel to my card base with foam tape.

To finish, I die cut some flowers and leaves from the Shapeabilities It’s Your Day Happy Collection die set and added them around the embossed frame.
