FSJ February 2020 Stamp of the Month

Today I’m sharing a card made with the FSJ February 2020 Stamp of the Month Club.

This month, you get the Spring in the Desert stamp set. It’s a lovely collection of desert florals and pretty sentiments.

The FSJ Stamp of the Month Club is a monthly subscription, featuring high quality deeply etched red rubber stamps with cling mount.

For those that want to join multiple clubs and save, Spellbinders offers Value Clubs.

I created a watercolour background for my card with Nuvo shimmer powders in solar flare, cherry bomb and violet brocade. I flicked the panel with gold perfect pearls, then dried it with my WOW dual speed heat tool (speed setting 1).

With Versafine onyx black ink, I stamped some flowers and leaves from the Spring in the Desert stamp set onto the background. I stamped and cut masks to help layer the images behind each other..

I heat embossed each image with WOW clear gloss embossing powder. I did the same with a sentiment from the same set.

On my card base, I added a strip of gold card at the bottom edge. I adhered the stamped panel above this, then a thin black card strip between them.

I finished by adding some Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Gold jewels around the card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed seeing the card I made with the February stamp of the month
