Hello Bluebird May 2021 Release Preview Day 1 – Bloom & Grow

I am so excited to share a look at the wonderful upcoming release from Hello Bluebird, arriving on May 6th.

My card today features the new Bloom & Grow stamp set – an adorable scene building set with critters gardening. It also has the loveliest sentiment quote, which I’ve showcased on my card.

I began by blending some frayed burlap distress oxide ink on my card base. I then created a paper stencil, with the previously released Grassy Knoll die, and blended on some shabby shutters distress oxide ink. I also added some brown Copic marker dots to the earth for texture.

On the right hand side of the card, I adhered a white card panel and stamped the wonderful sentiment quote from the Bloom & Grow stamp set. I also stamped a trail for the bee.

I stamped and copic coloured images from the Bloom & Grow stamp set. I die cut them with the coordinating dies, and added additional die cut layers behind them for extra dimension.

I arranged the images on my card and secured with liquid glue. One of my favourite things to do with CAS cards is to have some elements break out from the main scene. I feel it brings the whole design together.

The Bloom & Grow set is part of the May release from Hello Bluebird and will be available at 7pm MST on May 6th in the Hello Bluebird shop. It’s sure to be popular so don’t miss out!
