Pretty Pink Posh June 2024 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m pleased to be joining this blog hop celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh June release! 

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Rebecca Keppel. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the new Outer Space stamp set and the City Buildings die set.

I stamped out images from the Outer Space stamp set and coloured them with copic markers. I’ve listed all the copic markers used below. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out.

For the City Buildings, I die cut the buildings from a heavyweight black card, then the background from yellow. I layered these together to ‘light up’ the building windows.

I love the Craft Consortium Ink Drops patterned paper for dramatic skies, and it’s quicker and less intensive on the arms than ink blending. The Vivid papers are perfect for an alien sky.

I layered a piece of patterned paper over most of an A2 card base, leaving some space along the bottom edge to stamp my sentiment, from the Outer Space stamp set.

I added the buildings to the card, along with a thin strip underneath of silver holographic card.

I then adhered the Outer Space images to the sky, popping some up with foam tape for dimension.

  10. I never use my patterned paper but none of mine is as pretty as yours!! I’m just buying the wrong patterned paper, I’ve decided. Great card!
