I’m joining in with the challenge at Addicted to CAS today. Their code word is Wish.
I started by blending pink distress inks onto a piece of card, flicking it with water to create some details. I did the same with another piece of card, this time using yellow and oranges.
Using the MFT Birthday Candles die-namics, I die cut the candles and hearts from the pink card and the flames from the orange card.
I’d previously created a template from the negative die cut of the candles, which helps me to line them up on the card base. Once everything was adhered to the card, I added a sentiment from the Altenew Birthday Greetings stamp set and rounded the card corners to finish.
I’m entering this card into the following competitions:
CASology – I’ve used die cuts on this card.
CAS perfection … love the distressed paper and cute hearts in the flames. Thanks for joining the CASology challenge this week.

Great tip for using the negative, and love the layout. The colour drawns your eye into the card, pretty 🙂
